Today’s DIY is for all you girls out there – like me – who can’t seem to keep your jewelry organized :) I’ve always loved how our stores display accessories, particularly the wooden jewelry boards. Our Farmington FP girls put together this awesome and thorough tutorial on how to make one! It’s a bit long, so click “read more” to view all of the steps. Read More

This week’s Style File is a true Lou. Her style is relaxed and full of tomboy inspiration – a good tee, some jeans, and sneakers being her to-go. Read More
I love quirky little details… today I kept noticing little things that made an outfit unique, like a little bit of leather on a denim shirt, pairing a vintage tee with a sequin vest, adding suspenders to the basic denim and tee, statement collar necklaces, striped denim and leopard, neon bracelets – you name it, our FP girls are rocking it.
You can find the neon bracelets in our stores!
Ruby rocking her “You had me at woof” shirt :)
This week’s style file is our Associate Buyer for accessories, who traveled to the US from England to work at Free People. Her style is quirky and avant garde. It’s full of color and pattern – often with a theme like neon or turquoise. I love the risks she takes. There’s no fear, and nothing is too outrageous. It is, however, always inspiring.

The skull bracelet is available in FP stores!
If you look at our accessories collection online right now, you’re sure to notice a trend – we’ve gone crazy for bracelets! This season we are all about piling up the wrists with wrap bracelets, friendship bracelets, charm bracelets and cuffs. What I love about this trend is that you can literally wear your personality on your sleeve – fashion sense, friendships and meaningful symbols are all on display, and the combinations are endless and always somehow work.

Lastly, these adorable little neon friendship bracelets are the coolest! They are only available in our stores so make sure you stop in and snap one (or several) up!

Jemma is in New York City today and sent along these great photos of office style and mood boards in our showroom! I love all the cheery colors :)
one of our favorite trends for spring are wrists piled with bracelets and bangles- brass, silver or gold, it doesn’t matter, and the more the merrier is a key motto here. mix delicate gold leaf patterns with bulky mesh and brightly painted flowers for texture with a touch of the unexpected. this look has a multi-cultured and exotic feel, giving the illusion that you’ve traveled the world collecting pieces from different places along the way to display like artwork on your arms. give a simple summer dress a mysterious edge and turn a casual daytime look like shorts and a tee into rocking evening attire – just layer on some bracelets and you’re good to go!
