Yes, spring is really coming. A time of rebirth. Let’s wake up that tired winter skin with an invigorating yet calming spring facial mist.
Carry it with you all day long and give yourself a little spritz whenever you need a little pick-me-up. This stuff is pure gold.
Ingredients:
Tea of your choice
Distilled water
Essential oil of your choice
Vitamin E oil (or replacement, listed below)
You can use any kind of tea your heart desires. I chose green tea, which is full of antioxidants to fight acne and keep skin looking young. Chamomile is wonderful if you’re looking to reduce inflammation and under-eye circles.
Choose whichever essential oils you desire, as well. I used the always romantic jasmine because it’s my favorite — some other great options are ylang-ylang for its uplifting properties, vanilla for stress-relief, and rose to help reverse negative emotions.
You can also switch out the vitamin E oil for jojoba, sweet almond, or rose hip oil.
Directions:
1. First, brew a cup of tea. Steep for 5-10 minutes, then allow to cool.
2. Fill an atomizer bottle a little over 3/4 of the way. Add in a few drops of essential oil, and top off with vitamin E (or a replacement).
3. Screw on the top, shake well, and spritz away! This mixture should stay good for about 2-3 weeks if stored in the refrigerator.

It seems like winter will never go away in Maryland right now, but once it gets warmer, I will definitely make this. It sounds really fun and refreshing! Thanks for the idea :D
How much vitamin E oil should i use?
and will it make my oily nose any oilier?
Thanks,
been a fan of this site forever, keep up the great posts.
Where did you get the gorgeous bottle?
This is awesome! I actually experiment with making my own beauty products, and have used a mixture of almond oil and lavender essential oil – so refreshing and soothing. My skin is extremely sensitive, so I stopped using over the counter products altogether… my skin has never felt or looked better.
This is such a beautiful idea! (And a beautiful bottle too by the way!)
Will definitely be trying this before Winter comes! :)
Thank you so much for this idea! I keep dried used tea in a container to dye fabric with and I used some to make this mist! It felt so nice as body spray after getting out of the shower and made my skin super soft! I recommend vit E oil and a few drops of peppermint oil.
yes, please tell where the bottle is from!
Love this. Where is the amazing bottle from?
Where is that spray bottle from?
Is the distilled water necessary? Will using normal water cause any issues?

Hi, can I use distilled drinking water?
Couldn’t you mix two types of tea to get the benefits for both?

Lol Drew, I don’t think we’re supposed to know where the bottle came from!
