Tunesday: Twin Sister

Post image for Tunesday: Twin Sister

I was first introduced to Twin Sister over the summer, when they were at Pitchfork Festival and singer Andrea Estella made waves with her amazing seafoam hair. The Brooklyn-based band is definitely one to watch – their sound is a mix of electronic, indie, pop with a bit of brooklyn edge thrown in to create a sound that is sultry and smooth, makes you want to dance but is still easy on the ears. I recently discovered this video for their song “Stop” done by Yours Truly and I can’t stop listening – it sounds fresh and new, and I love when I hear music that doesn’t sound like anything I’ve heard before. Check it out, and listen to more of their music here.

Just the song to play after a long day working as a retail slave for an over busy department store…. I swear I’m in love with this group now

I know I’m the only person who will say this, but their live show was disappointing. She was acting really, really strange, and gave up singing about halfway through each song. But I looove her hair!

I’m absolutely in LOVE (obsessed) with TWIN SISTER! I have been listening to them nonstop this past year. I have been to two of their shows and they just blew me away with their amazing sound.

Andrea can be a bit awkward at times but she def. puts on a wonderful/mesmerizing show with the rest of the band. They’re gonna be playing in LA in February and I’m def. not missing it :-)

So glad you guys blogged about them <3

P.S.

If anyone wants to check out some pics and vids I made for their past shows, you can visit my blog: jennitalolita.blogspot.com :-)
