This month I’m playing a little game I came up with, called Adventure by Fate, where each week I partake in a different adventure – decided by the roll of a wooden block. My second roll landed on “Camp out under the stars” – so I did just that.
I drove out to the suburbs with a small group to one of our friends’ houses. The yard was completely open and surrounded by woods, with a beautiful view of the night sky. A couple of my friends set up the tent while I snuck into the garage and looked around for some fun things to decorate the campsite. I think I hit the jackpot. Two printed blankets, a pair of antlers, a floral rug, and a drum later, I headed back to the site and finished setting up camp. We had such a fun night hanging out by the campfire, lighting fireworks, and even releasing a paper lantern into the sky. Definitely a summer night to be remembered.
And for my next adventure, I will…
See my tubing adventure and check back next week for a photo recap of my third adventure!
