“Freeing herself of the dust from her past was exhausting. Who knew dust could be so heavy? Who knew fresh air would be so exhilarating?”
We all have pasts, and some of the things we have in our past, we maybe wish could be erased. I have some of these things, and dwelling on them becomes exhausting. I replay the “would have …could have…should have’s” over and over again in my head, but when it comes down to it, there’s no way of going back and changing what has already happened. The only thing to do is accept mistakes, and try to learn something from them. It might be hard and it might take time, but when you finally move on, you’ll feel growth and relief. You’ll feel a new air around you. A fresh one.

I’m a little disappointed in Free People that today’s Monday quote wasn’t an Martin Luther King, Jr. quote…
