Be inspired by our stylist of the week!
This week’s featured FP Me stylist is showering us with sunshine and warmth. Thank you Erin, for sharing and uploading your southern-born FP Me photos, which make us wonder if summer could ever be year-round (it’s helping us forget just how real winter is going to be in Philly).
From the shore to the city, this girl is always on the go, with camera in hand, capture every moment she can.Who is she? Find out below as Erin lets us in on all her secrets.
Tell us about yourself: where are you from/where are you now /what do you do/how did you get to where you are?
From a young age my parents inspired me to travel and see the world, so I’ve always been restless in the sense to get out and see more. I travel a lot but, at the end of the day, I call Atlanta, Georgia home. Currently, I live just outside the city where I attend high-school, but next fall I plan on moving into Atlanta proper for college. I visit the city almost every weekend and I cannot wait to spend more of my time in a place of so much wonder.
What does an average day look like for Erin?
The only word that comes to mind is LIVELY! Between school, work, photography and spending time with the ones I love, it can be overwhelming. Despite my schedule, I adore everything about my busy life. I find it can be easy to take things for granted, but even a busy life can be a beautiful one.
What do you like to do for fun?
Photography, filming and clothes are my three biggest passions. For fun you can find me daydreaming about different textures, patterns and materials all coming together to make up an outfit, or getting lost with my camera and best friends.
You just woke up. What’s your daily beauty regime?
My beauty regime varies day to day; some days, winging my eyeliner at 6am doesn’t sound too appealing, and odds are I hit snooze on my alarm a few too many times, so I’m on a time crunch. I always make sure to brush my teeth and put on some foundation, curl my lashes too — if I’m feeling that wild.

If you could directly relate your style to any movie or TV character, who would it be? Is there one thing you strive to achieve every morning when you get dressed?
I’m not sure which movie or TV character I would relate myself to, but I am a sucker for old school fashion — like denim or leather and lots of black and white. And…I never leave my house without my rings.
You have a pretty fun Instagram account. What’s your way of tackling this ever-popular social media channel? Do you have any rules or guidelines when it comes to choosing what you post?
Thank you! I don’t really have a strategy for what I post. I make sure to keep it appropriate but, for the most par,t I take pictures of the settings that I find inspiring, or I bring to life the images that dance around in my head. What I find engaging about social media is I can photograph and share the things I see in my head, or what inspires me, and someone else out there finds themselves relating to me or dreaming the same way I do.
What’s your favorite thing about the FP Me community and creating great content for your profile?
I absolutely ADORE the FP Me community. I think it was a genius idea to create a platform where individuals can come together to share styling advice and collaborate. My favorite thing about the FPMe community is the freedom — no pun intended. You are free to share how you style your favorite Free People pieces without judgement and, by establishing that style, you can be inspired by others at the same time.

What music have you been digging recently?
Music is a huge part of my life. I find myself spending more money than I’d like to admit on festivals and old records. With that said, I make playlists for every occasion. Since it’s holiday season I find myself gravitating toward beats to cure the nostalgia that always comes with this time of year. What’s been coming through my headphones most? Alabama Shakes, Tame Impala and Bombay Bicycle Club. And I could never forget my three top men — Bon Iver, Ben Howard and Matt Corby.
What’s the last thing you searched on Google?
The last thing I searched on google was, weirdly enough, Adele’s net worth. Ya girl’s worth $75 million.
It’s the weekend: where would you most likely go, and who would be by your side?
Weekends for me look like this: give me a plane or a car and I’m off. Sometimes with a set destination, sometimes I just go. I always pack too many clothes. I have something lace and velvet in my bag, and my camera in my lap.
What’s been your favorite memory thus far in life?
My favorite memory occurred four years ago. There’s a cove in an old beach town I travel to a lot and, during the winter months, I have it all to myself. My grandma and I got in her old beat-up 1986 Cutlass Supreme and, before we knew it, had the sand under our feet. The cove is surrounded by rocks and the sound of waves crashing over them. I remember her deep red lipstick blending with the sunset. The sky seemed to be breathing with us that night as we sat on a blanket. We talked for hours until it was much too late and we had to go home. Three years later she passed away from cancer and, while nothing has ever hurt as bad as losing her, I cherish the memories we got to make that day, breathing with the sky and sitting alongside my best friend.
What does being ‘free’ mean to you?
Being “free” to me is being selfless. It is the act of doing without the fear of receiving in return. You do not worry about what could happen — you just do. You take trips, let yourself imagine patterns, breathe with the sky, and live your life with people that you love and nothing less. Being “free” to me is all that matters.
