Pitchfork Music Festival occurred over the weekend in Chicago, and it was not a festival to be missed! There was an excellent lineup, from Sky Ferreira to Phosphorescent to Belle & Sebastian — a total lineup of bands I had never before seen live, so it was quite the exciting weekend for me. They all blew my mind, but I must say, Foxygen took the cake for me. From the hilarious back-and-forth banter of band members between songs to singer Sam France climbing the rafters and rolling off the stage mid-performance, I just could not keep my eyes away. And I couldn’t stop dancing, either! Here are some highlights from the incredible performances at Pitchfork 2013!

It. Was. Awesome. Originally, I went there because of Bjork (I love her since I was 14 and I have never seen her live gigs before, just couldn’t miss this one!) and my friend also told me that Bat For Lashes is gonna be there (don’t know why on Earth he thought so but I was excited to see the guys there. And yep, for those who don’t know http://blablamp3.com/mp3/bat-for-lashes.html ). Okay, they weren’t there but the rest of the bands were amazing. Sorry for all the folks who couldn’t make it and come to see the bands and hooray for me!
