It’s super gray in Philly today, but I came across this video on Now Voyager and it’s making me glad! All those birdies are so cute and funny flying and tittering! The song is from the Amelie soundtrack – so wonderful!
How fun is this!? Tonight in Prospect Park of Brooklyn New York, there will be an outdoor showing/sing-a-long of the classic movie Purple Rain, starring Prince! This is one event I would love to attend!

This video makes me want to go to the aquarium right now! It was shot by Jon Rawlinson at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan. This particular tank is the second largest aquarium tank in the world! How fun would it be to be that scuba diver at the bottom…

If you are in the Chicago area this weekend, you should check out the Wicker Park Festival going on this Saturday and Sunday! This a cool music and arts festival that the Wicker Park & Bucktown area put on every year, with this year’s festival including something like 40 musicians! It starts tomorrow at 12pm, and runs through Sunday evening! Located at the intersection of Milwaukee & North Streets, it’ll be right across the street from our Free People store and our We The Free store! The word is that those stores will be having a big sale this weekend as well! Check out this site or this site for all the details!

i have an ancient pillow that belonged to my mother. i named it Cuddle Pillow because it was made for cuddling and comforting me. for the longest time i thought it’s pillowcase was a strange shade of gray… but yesterday i poured some oxi clean into the washer with it and later discovered that its actually YELLOW! i love it even more now :)
