Early Saturday morning I flew to Boston for our Holiday Crafting Party at Free People Cambridge. It was such an amazing day – we were blown away by the creativity of everyone who came to the event, and it was so great to just sit around a table, talking and crafting for a few hours! Here’s a photo diary of the day :)
It was an early flight…very early… but this sunrise made it ok.

Our Cambridge store is located at Harvard Square, a really cute little spot just outside Boston where Harvard University is located.
I loved these friendship bracelets one of our fp girls was rocking.
And this sick tattoo another fp girl drew herself!

One of our crafters, Nicole, blew me away with her style and creativity! She made the following braided hat band, necklace and bracelet. And her rad printed jacket is actually a men’s shirt that she found in Africa – amazing.
Fall layering done well by Kerrin.
Get the look: oversized sweater, tights, slouchy socks, buckle boots, light jacket and chunky scarf. Piece of cake!

So many amazing holiday ornaments were made!
One girl used the embroidery thread and tied a bunch of tiny bows that she glued to the inside of the ornament – soooo beautiful.
Wouldn’t it be a sweet gift to put a ring or something small inside a homemade ornament?!?
Such a wonderful day :) Thank you so much to everyone who came, and to our Cambridge FP girls for being so amazing!

Fantastic stuff like this doesn’t happen in my small town of Winfield,KS….I love all things crafty and handmade and I love the style of Free People..Can’t really afford it on my small budget, but I do love looking at everything and getting inspiration for my own diys…I don’t know if there is a FP store anywhere around my area, but i sure would love to check it out someday!
I live in Palmetto,Fla. There are many bigger cities around me. But we don’t have anything like that around here. Would love to see you here. Please!
Come to Vegas for First Friday! We have a lot where there are free crafting classes for chilren, but it would be cool to have one for adults too!
