It has been frigid in Philadelphia this week…temperatures are the lowest they’ve been in a couple of years, and it’s a harsh reminder that spring is not coming just yet. However, this time each year we take down our holiday-themed store displays and replace them with all spring displays. Yesterday I took a little trip over to our Walnut Street store in Philly to check out the displays in person. It may have been freezing outside but the moment I stepped in our store I was overcome with warmth. The girls in our stores are always so cheerful, they had great music playing, and everywhere I looked the store seemed to be blossoming with happy color. The new displays include a rainbow of dreamy neon mesh draped in the windows, hanging in garlands from the ceiling, and crawling up the walls like ivy. Amazing woven lanterns hang from the ceiling and twinkle with string lights, and various wire constructions cover one entire wall, in the shapes of vases and leaves, adding an interesting juxtaposition of hard and soft.
I love how the intimates are hung on a line with clothespins! I want to do this in my apartment.

I want to paint something in a mehndi pattern. Unfortunately you can’t paint the floor in my house, weird laminate, but I will paint a wardrobe door or similar. Love it!!!!!
