For as long as we can remember, we’ve felt the magnetic pull toward the bright and airy land Down Under.
Maybe it’s the incredible contrast of landscapes — from tropical beaches, to bustling metropolitan cities, to dense rain forests, to dry red deserts. Or maybe it’s the unique way that no one seems to take things too seriously, the lightheartedness that runs through the veins of the country’s people revealed by their warm smiles and cherry g’days. But the uniqueness of the country isn’t reserved just for the dry sense of humor or the taste of Vegemite…
Australia has a sartorial aesthetic you won’t find anywhere else on earth. It’s one part fashion forward and edgy, one part tongue-in-cheek and two parts laid-back. Australian girls have a certain je ne sais quoi, so it was no surprise that when we decided to once again “Pop Up in Sydney” we were delighted with not only the privilege of sharing laughs with and getting to know our Aussie Free People girls, but also the opportunity to immerse ourselves in a celebration of true personal style.
Last weekend we threw a party among the racks of delicate lace, breezy cotton and tough leather accents; Pieces which invited guests to play with their looks for the night. Trolleyd served up beautiful drinkable nature cups and we nibbled on vegan delights by The Secret Kitchen. We mingled and laughed with Potion By Mim in hand while DJ Rhyme provided the perfect party sound track just for us, upstairs above Come As You Are boutique on Oxford Street, Paddington.
Special thanks to:
Come As You Are for the temporary space we had the pleasure of calling home
