Grab the nog, but hold the rum…and make this all natural eggnog hair mask for stronger, healthier hair!
So you probably wouldn’t consider putting eggnog anywhere except in a fancy glass at a holiday party. I mean, that was my thinking…until I remembered that one of eggs’ healing properties include repairing lifeless hair. The protein in eggs helps make hair follicles stronger, shinier and thicker. Do you guys see where I’m going with this? Eggnog equals eggs, which equals luscious, moisturized locks. Do I dare try it? Add in a few more things, and we might just have the next best all natural hair mask recipe. Call me crazy, but I’d highly recommend trying it first.
So first things first: Grab the nog, but hold the rum.
Next, gather some other things that will help make the hair (and you) happy:
1/2 tsp cinnamon (stimulates hair growth and naturally lightens hair!)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tbsp raw honey (to nourish + enrich)
1 tbsp coconut oil (for shine + moisture)
a few drops of argan oil (this helps your hair to grow faster!)
1 egg white (for extra protein + to thicken the mixture)
Add all ingredients into a glass jar. Pour in about 2 tbsp of eggnog. If the mixture is too thin, add a bit more honey and cinnamon to thicken. Wash your hair normally, then distribute the hair mask all over your damp hair. Work through with your fingers or a comb and cover with a towel or shower cap. Leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse hair thoroughly with warm water.
How’s that for some holiday hair magic?

Lord&Taylor’s holiday windows are…Ugh! NO words. The library scene is magical.
I will definitely try that, it sounds amazing! Especially if my hair smells like cinnamon afterwards!
