Post image for 5 Steps to Overcoming Injuries

What do you call a surfer who does not surf? A runner who does not run, or a yogi who does not practice yoga?Read More

This was beautifully written. You so perfectly expressed so many things I have been feeling as I recover from a misdiagnosis and a completely unnecessary and devastating back surgery which made my condition of piriformis syndrome so much worse. Now I have been correctly diagnosed. It has been more than 3 years since I have done yoga, ridden my bike, walked around the block or worn regular cute shoes. I WILL Recover. I know I will! But in the mean time I have learned patience and stillness and empathy and the beauty of the moon. I have gone to the depths of depression and crawled back out again. My sense of smell and touch are stronger and yes, I to have had a glimpse into the state of old age. It IS an anatomy lesson. I know more about the mechanics of the lower back and pelvis than most physical therapists. I am currently recovering with the help of prolotherapy. If you just want some info from me because I have literally tried everything, please feel free to contact me. The best of luck to you. XXOO

Miann, this was such a great post. I read it at the perfect time and so appreciate you sharing your experience! Being fit and healthy w/a body that does what you want when you want, it's so humbling when that comes to a screeching halt. After dealing with my body's limitations over a 5 year journey, there are good days and some not so good days. But I like to think I have much more acceptance of who I am today. All of the great things my body can do for me usually wins out over the frustration and feelings of lack. Your post brought back that sense of gratitude to the forefront of my mind. So thank you xxoo

@Admin At the point when a lunar obscuration lands in your sharing house, a movement in your outside assets or a personal relationship is conceivable. You may turn out to be more worried with monetary matters that vibe outside your ability to control, for example, charges, obligations or advances regards rakhi

Post image for Sophie Jaffe On Food-Based Cleansing & Our Upcoming Mexico Retreat

I like where she is headed with this 'food cleanse' idea. I currently study Nutrition; the liver is our cleansing organ. There is really no such thing as using foods to 'cleanse our system of toxins'--that is our liver's main function. We tend to think of our bodies as dirty, toxin-ridden things. Rather, we are powerful beings with organs that cleanse us. From what I have gathered, I believe foods should be used not to 'detoxify', but to keep those powerful organs in optimal working condition!

My name is Dominique. Im 19 years old and This would be my first year attending RiSE and you have no idea how much these tickets would help me make this dream of mine come true. Every since a large paper lantern landed outside of my front porch I knew I needed to go to a festival. I researched and found out about RiSE. The videos look magical and I was planning on going to the November 11th 2015 (2 days away from my birthday) but it was sadly canceled. Last minute preparations are being made for me and my friend to attend this one in Nevada but I hope we are not too late!! I love experiencing the joys that life has to offer and regularly hike Arizona enjoying it's beauty. I know that RiSE would be a festival that I would never forget and if it's to late for me this year, I know next year is still coming. :) Thank you for the opportunity to win this chance it's truly an amazing gift for anyone.
