Remember this awesome music video by Lisa Hannigan that I posted a while back? The pop-up book is so cool, and the song is really sweet!
Well, I have some fun news! Lisa was so kind as to donate three t-shirts, three packets of adorable buttons, and three copies of her new album, Sea Sew, for me to give away to you! How awesome is that?! The stuff is all very cute too! And who doesn’t want a free new album?
So now is the fun part – the giveaway! For your chance to win a Lisa Hannigan t-shirt, album, and some buttons, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and answer one of the following two questions: What page in the pop-up book in the music video is your favorite?
or What type of music is your favorite?
Three comments will be chosen at random, and if your comment is one of those chosen, you win! It’s just that easy! Don’t forget to include your email address with your comment, so that if you win I can contact you! I will announce the winners tomorrow evening! Yay! Good luck! P.S. In Philadelphia? Don’t miss Lisa’s show at the World Cafe on this coming Thursday night! It’s an event not to be missed! See all her dates on her site!
I found the original music video for The Beach Boys’ song Wouldn’t It Be Nice and it makes me so happy, just like the song! It’s really cute and it looks like they’re having so much fun! The perfect song for a pleasant Saturday…
Today I bring you the second of our trio of Valentine’s Day playlists: the Breaking Up Playlist! Sad as it is, the fact of the matter is that sometimes love stinks, and sometimes we dump or get dumped. So, we asked everyone at Free People to tell us their favorite breaking up songs, and have compiled them into this playlist for you! Don’t miss our Falling in Love playlist from earlier this week, also!
Having trouble viewing the playlist? Click here to be whisked away to a page where you can view it!
I really enjoyed this music video by Friendly Fires for their song Skeleton Boy, which is going to be on their new album coming out in a few weeks. It’s a happy little song and I love the snowy stuff floating all around and turning them into skeletons! There’s a higher quality version on YouTube if you click through, also.

I can’t believe Valentine’s Day is in just a little more than a week! It seems like New Year’s and the inauguration were so recently!
We have put together three different playlists for Valentine’s Day, and today I bring you the first: the Falling in Love playlist! We asked everyone in the company to tell us their favorite falling in love songs, and here they are! Enjoy! And click here if you want to see it on Playlist.com!
Give our newest playlist a spin! We think you’ll really like it!
We are trying another playlist program, Playlist.com, and so far we really like it a lot! The playlists are for you though, so please tell us what you guys think!
Also, you should check out our Playlist.com profile. You can follow us and our playlists there, kind of like on Twitter!
I recently found this video of Simon & Garfunkel’s Cloudy on YouTube. I just love it, it’s so relaxing and mellow! I think it’s a clip from an old TV show, rather than a music video… I never had seen it before! Enjoy!
