January 20–February 18

As Venus moves into your worth house this week, part of your focus turns to material wants and personal values. Her clash with Saturn in your network zone indicates difficulty with a group over money, possessions or priorities. Or perhaps social morals will keep self-indulgence in check. You may be especially aware now of others having what you want, and you could feel like the world is not providing for you as you would hope. But a Venus-Neptune meeting can serve as a reminder of your spiritual values and lessen the sense that you must operate on a timetable. Hopefully it will sink in that you will ultimately have what you need, and it’s not just about instant gratification in the material realm. Retrograde Mercury in Aquarius connects with Uranus in your mindset zone and then rendezvous with the sun. So self-reflection is bound to help you gain insight, and changing your thinking can change the way you project yourself to others.

February 19–March 20

Venus lands in Pisces this week, helping you to attract what you want, look your best and turn on the charm. You’ll feel more outgoing and will want to connect with people. A Venus-Saturn run-in implies that your appeal could seem to be lost on higher-ups, and your career or goals may interfere with your social life. It’s generally easy to make a favorable impression when Venus visits your sign, but you’re probably not feeling the love from a boss, parent or other authority figure. Thankfully, Venus meets up with Neptune later in the week, which spells creativity, romance, dreams, indulgent pleasures and organic connections with others. This pairing could also spell idealization and disillusionment, so be careful not to only see what you want to see. With Mars in Pisces vibing with Pluto in your group zone, this is a good week for proactive networking, teamwork, joining an organization, working toward a new goal or tackling a philanthropic project.

March 21–April 19

Venus slips into the last house of your chart this week and proceeds to clash with by-the-book Saturn but gel with let-it-go Neptune. You may be in the mood to relinquish control and go with the flow, but that seems like it’s not in keeping with working hard to build a future you can envision. A subconscious desire to just be is competing with a more ambitious outlook. Prioritize alone time, spirituality, imaginings and rest, and hopefully you’ll experience a feeling of peace. Working in seclusion will help you make headway on a goal, while confronting something within yourself could unleash your personal power and transform your capacity to achieve. With retrograde Mercury in your network zone gelling with Uranus in Aries, it’s possible that reconnecting with a friend, peer or professional contact will give you the sense of moving forward. Group brainstorming might also stimulate progress, so even if part of you is feeling antisocial, don’t totally isolate yourself.

April 20–May 20

Venus arrives in your hopes-and-humanity sector this week, upping your desire to be around people in the next few weeks. This is a good period for socializing and networking. Venus is battling withholding Saturn in your sharing house though, so you may feel like it’s hard to get close to someone. Or a commitment to a specific person could interfere with friendships. It’s also possible that new wishes will clash with the intensive work that you need to do to reach more important objectives. Eventually Venus meets up with Neptune, and hopefully that pairing will put you in sync with people and give you a pleasant sense of fitting in without having to try. There’s a chance you’ll feel disappointed in or confused by someone. Teamwork and group activities could shift your outlook. You might be tempted to overindulge in fun with friends when those two planets come together. In communicating with a boss or rethinking a goal, rely on flashes of insight.

May 21–June 20

With Venus climbing to the top of your chart this week, your ability to make a good impression publically and professionally grows, so keep a high profile. It may not seem so promising when Venus quarrels with Saturn in your others angle. You’re apt to experience that as someone blocking you from shining or withholding their cooperation. Maybe a relationship or obligation to another person will keep you from focusing purely on goals like you may want to. A Venus-Neptune encounter will increase your yearning for success and could make you feel disillusioned. Creativity and selflessness are positive routes to take. Research and intense hard work will also be productive. Retrograde Mercury in your expansion zone is clicking with Uranus and the sun, suggesting that you’ll revisit a place or hit on new insights when reexamining your beliefs. You could also reconnect with someone from far away out of the blue. A friend or professional contact may give you some educational info too.

June 21–July 22

After pleasure-seeking Venus segues into your expansion house this week, she skirmishes with Saturn in your duties sector and then meets up with Neptune, who’s been hanging out in your expansion house for the past few years. Your attraction to people, experiences, beliefs and places outside your everyday milieu is boosted by Venus’s placement here. But you may not be able to satisfy your taste for adventure as readily as you’d like, because you have more pressing duties. Don’t despair. Allow yourself to find love and beauty in people and things you’re not used to. Exposure to an unfamiliar culture or genre can open your mind and help you to feel naturally connected to a bigger world than your everyday one. You might romanticize someone now just because they’re new and different. Traveling or sharing a new experience with someone you already know can have a transformative effect on the relationship. Whatever you do, don’t stay in your comfort zone this week.

July 23–August 22

You may start craving closeness after amicable Venus enters your merging zone this week, but a squabble with serious Saturn in your self-expression house suggests that it will be somewhat of a challenge. You may find it difficult to freely share what’s in your heart. Or perhaps the work that you’re doing to be more true to yourself doesn’t mesh with a sexual relationship or the messiness of give-and-take. Maybe part of you wants to be lighthearted and loving, but you’re also grappling with your own personal issues. When Venus rendezvous with Neptune later in the week, you could romanticize sexuality or become confused over intimacy and trust. But you could also have a beautiful experience of meshing with another person effortlessly. With the sun and Mercury conjoining in your relationship angle, you definitely shouldn’t go it alone now, because you stand to gain pleasure and energy from your encounters with others. Since Mercury is retrograde though, you need to be patient with miscommunication.

August 23–September 22

After Venus crosses your relationship angle this week, your one-on-one encounters take on a pleasant tone. But Venus’s battle with Saturn in your foundation zone indicates family or domestic obligations or an underlying mood could mar your interactions. You might feel too private, self-protective, insecure or emotionally blocked to connect with others as much as you want to. Or maybe you just have things to take care of at home. Venus clicks with Neptune later in the week, hinting at romance, effortless bonding and healing. You do run the risk though of being disappointed by someone you’ve idealized. Mercury is retrograde in your details house, prompting you to go back over things and analyze them to the nth degree. Thanks to a fortuitous angle Mercury is forming to brilliant Uranus in your depth sector, you may have some flashes of insight into a relationship or your own psyche. You’ll probably feel driven to deconstruct, so go ahead and do some hard thinking.

September 23–October 22

Venus enters your efficiency house this week, encouraging you to enjoy your work, value your health, get along well with people you see in your daily routine and make an effort to improve your relationships. Interactions with colleagues should be fairly smooth, and the next few weeks are a good time for beautifying your workspace. However, Venus is arguing with Saturn in your cognition-and-communication sector, so you may not be in the best mindset to appreciate your everyday life. Or you could have difficulty expressing yourself to people in your environment. Maybe you want to love your life, but somehow it doesn’t feel like enough at the moment. When Venus runs into Neptune later in the week, you’re encouraged to treat your body as a temple and take a natural, holistic approach to health. You may also feel like overindulging in sweets or eating with abandon for pure pleasure. Just rein it in the next day if you have a judgment lapse. No guilt.

October 23–November 21

Thanks to Venus’s arrival in your fulfillment sector this week, you want to enjoy life and express yourself. But her battle with restrictive Saturn in your worth house hints that low funds or confidence could hold you back. It would be easy to get a little down over not having what you want when you want it. But fortunately, Mars and Pluto are syncing up and hopefully moving you past this sense of deprivation. Since Pluto is in your mindset zone, chances are empowered thinking will fuel you to pursue what—or whom—you want. Venus is aligning with Neptune, highlighting spiritual love, romance and artistic imagination. You’re apt to look at a loved one through rose-colored glasses now; be mindful of that, so it doesn’t lead to disillusionment. With Mercury retrograde in your memory house, you’re probably reviewing the past and perhaps waxing nostalgic. Looking back can be useful if it helps you to hit on ideas for instigating change in your present life.

November 22–December 21

With Venus descending to the bottom of your chart this week, the appeal of home becomes more irresistible. You may feel like decorating, spending time with family, enjoying some peace and quiet or playing domestic goddess by cooking, baking, crafting or entertaining. Maybe all of the above. The problem is Venus is going up against Saturn in Sagittarius, suggesting that you’re somehow preventing yourself from relaxing and nesting. Or maybe it seems like you have so much work to do that you can’t press pause and chill at home. Working on your home or from home could help you to feel productive. And thanks to a Venus-Neptune meetup, you should have at least a day where you give in and indulge yourself, escaping into some form of pleasure you can enjoy at home. You might also try rethinking something now, as you’re likely to hit on an original idea, with retrograde Mercury in your cognition sector clicking with brilliant Uranus in your creativity house.

December 22–January 19

This week, Venus shows up in your communication sector, and that’s likely to make everyday interactions more agreeable. You’ll be able to see beauty in your immediate environment and appreciate the little things in your day. But your positive frame of mind could be diminished by Venus’s argument with Saturn in your subliminal zone. A dark cloud may take over your thinking, as doubts and fears creep in. Introversion or responsibilities that are haunting you may keep you from feeling very social. Be aware of holding yourself back, and consider what’s real and what’s not. A Venus-Neptune meeting coaxes you to adopt a more go-with-the-flow attitude and take pleasure, creativity and affection as they come. Although Mercury is retrograde, bold Mars is gelling with Pluto in Capricorn, so proactive thinking and verbal assertion will feel empowering, and the positive angle these two planets are forming means you should be able to find that sweet spot between not going far enough and going too far.
