July 23–August 22

Venus is still retrograde in Leo, but she’s collaborating with Uranus this week, helping you find a way to enjoy life. A flexible frame of mind will enable you to consider novel options rather than go-to pleasures that may not be available to you now. It’s good for you to break up your routine and try something different now and then. The sun is arguing with Saturn in your foundation angle, hinting that family or domestic responsibilities, an underlying negative mood or ties to the past could hold you back. Conserve your energy, and face any difficulty in measured doses instead of avoiding it or trying to surmount it all at once. A Mars-Neptune skirmish cues you to adjust your modus operandi so you’re not too dependent on iffy outside support.

August 23–September 22

You’ll continue to enjoy quiet solitude this week, with social Venus still traveling retrograde in your seclusion-and-spirituality house. She’s jibing with liberating Uranus in your depth sector, hinting that reflection could lead to insights that set something free in your psyche. Intimate private time with someone close to you is another possible scenario. You could find it difficult to unwind and look back on your year if you’re in a negative frame of mind. Self-judgment will only wear you out. The sun is entering Virgo on Sunday, infusing you with energy and encouraging you to let go of the past and start anew. It’s time to quiet your inner critic and focus on yourself in a healthy way so you can shine your light brighter than ever this year. Happy birthday!

September 23–October 22

Although your ruling planet Venus is retrograde, she’s meshing with Uranus in your one-on-one angle this week, facilitating moments of connection. Getting back in touch with someone you haven’t talked to in awhile is favored. Or you might meet someone new, but be aware that starting a relationship during Venus retrograde is generally not advised. It might be a pleasant diversion though—if you’re willing to see how it plays out, with no expectations of commitment. A fight between the sun and Saturn alludes to limited funds or confidence impacting your social life or set values or priorities preventing you from being a team player. Don’t let insecurity make you feel like you don’t belong. The better you know yourself, the better you’ll know where you fit in.

October 23–November 21

Venus at the top of your chart is gelling with Uranus in your efficiency sector this week, drawing a connection between your professional or public appeal and your willingness to try various methods to improve your skills, work ethic, habits, health, productivity and schedule. A change in your routine could suddenly click and facilitate more favorable circumstances for you to succeed. Innovative, creative work is especially favored now, so don’t even consider sticking to the tried and true. However, with the sun in your ambition angle battling Saturn in Scorpio, you may need to dial down your energy at some point to suit certain constraints. Get some rest if you’re feeling burnt out, and adjust your approach to a current goal, based on the knowledge and experience you’ve gained in the last few years.

November 22–December 21

Spontaneous fun is in the cards this week, with pleasurable Venus in your exploration sector vibing with impromptu Uranus in your joy house. Given that Venus is still retrograde, it may take more than one try, but if you’re flexible, you can find ways to enjoy life. Take a risk, get out of your routine and pursue learning experiences. Your love of adventure will serve you well now. If you can’t travel, even unfamiliar cuisine, music, literature or art will stimulate you. The sun is also in your exploration sector, but it’s squabbling with Saturn in your subliminal zone. So your upbeat perspective could be clouded by underlying doubts or something else that’s been lingering in the back of your mind. Notice what’s bothering you, but don’t let it take over your entire headspace.

December 22–January 19

With Venus retrograde in your sharing sector, closeness seems hard to come by, but this week’s Venus-Uranus collaboration hints that you’ll be able to connect with another individual or with your own emotions. Since intimacy and self-reflection are both worthwhile pursuits now, you’d do well to prioritize private time with someone you trust and quiet alone time. You might also get in touch with a family member and finally feel ready to let something go. The sun in your sharing sector is experiencing discord with Saturn in your network house, so a particular relationship may not go over well with a group or a shift in your psyche might make you feel out of step with people. Respect others’ priorities and come to grips with what you can reasonably ask of them.

January 20–February 18

Even though Venus is retrograde in your one-on-one angle for another few weeks, she’s joining forces with your ruling planet Uranus in your communication sector this week, improving your interactions this week. Looking at people in a new light can give you insights into them and help you to find common ground. Try to notice the little things about someone that might change your mind about him or her. If you’re open to viewing a person differently, you might be pleasantly surprised by a shift in your rapport. The sun in your relationship house is sparring with Saturn in your ambition zone, though, so goals and responsibilities could interfere with your ability to connect with someone. Be careful not to relate to your equals with an air of authority.

February 19–March 20

With Venus retrograde in your efficiency house, dissatisfaction with your job or daily life may be eating at you lately. But Venus is cooperating with Uranus in your worth sector this week, suggesting that enjoying what you’re doing will dovetail with a change in your confidence, priorities or finances. Doing work that you like could call for you to make a new budget, a different job may require you to tap into your unique set of talents and an unorthodox use of your resources might facilitate a pleasing solution to an old problem. But a sun-Saturn skirmish implies a rigid perspective could limit your productivity. Try to focus your energy on those tasks that will teach you the most, and if you find yourself daydreaming, take a break, then get back to work.

March 21–April 19

Despite the fact that pleasure-seeking Venus is retrograde, she’s in your happiness zone and collaborating with liberating Uranus in Aries this week, facilitating self-expression and fun. Rediscovering an old source of pleasure, reconnecting with someone you care about and spontaneously conveying your affection will all feel good. Find your own way to have a good time, express your creativity or indulge in romance. This planetary pairing suggests that finding the right balance of personal space in a relationship shouldn’t be too difficult, but a sun-Saturn quarrel implies otherwise. Being your unique self and sharing yourself with another person could feel incompatible. You might not get the response or support you want from someone, and you’ll be compelled to come to terms with the fact that other people have different values and priorities.

April 20–May 20

Alone time and introspection are favored this week, with your ruler Venus in your domestic angle vibing with Uranus in your solitude sector. Insights could come from a spiritual practice, dreams or quiet reflection. You’ll feel lighter and more at peace if you clear out clutter in your home and in your head. Going through keepsakes will trigger memories and may liberate emotions that you’ve repressed. The sun is still nestled at the bottom of your chart, further emphasizing your private self. However, the current sun-Saturn battle might allude to a commitment to someone that cuts into your alone time. A one-on-one encounter could unsettle you, and you may feel like you’re being tested. But don’t let another person make you uncomfortable. Call on your Taurean stability to recenter yourself.

May 21–June 20

Voicing your innermost thoughts to your friends may be tricky this week, with an awkward encounter between verbal Mercury in your emotions angle and unpredictable Uranus in your group sector. Fortunately, amiable Venus in your communication house is clicking with Uranus, potentially smoothing over any rough spots. The ability to notice moments of love and bits of beauty in your everyday life will make you feel more in the flow. Express your creative ideas with a positive attitude, and don’t worry what people think. A sun-Saturn clash suggests that your job, health or responsibilities could affect your mindset, especially if you’re not as productive as you’d like. Scattered thinking can keep you from getting your act together. Try to focus on doing what you know you have to do.

June 21–July 22

Venus is in your resources zone, which in theory, should be helping you to attract what you need and want. But this magnetic planet is retrograde, complicating the law of attraction for another few weeks. Thankfully, Venus is gelling with change-loving Uranus in your ambition angle this week, highlighting the value of coordinating new goals with a reshuffling of your priorities. Flexibility is key. Be willing to let go of dead-end objectives and desires to open up a more tenable path to success. The sun is also in your resources zone and currently clashing with Saturn in your joy sector. So it may be challenging to successfully blend creativity and income, self-worth and romance or finances and fun—and it will take extra effort to find a solution.

I love these, I always look forward to them! So thanks (:

I completely agree–I have to do something SUPER crazy!

What I want and need is for the sun to shine on my wedding day next weekend, so I hope Venus can make that happen for me, haha :-)

As hard as it is for me to believe the horoscopes based on what time of year I was born, this one seems pretty spot on. I don’t know, maybe my ways of thinking is starting to change.
