Sasquatch Festival Street Style + Playlist!

Did you know that there is a desert in Washington? Yep, the most northern state… the one bordering Canada. Unfortunately I have to confess that I didn’t. In my mind, the entire state is absurdly green, lush, and the constant smell of rain lingers in the air.  So I was surprised to discover that Sasquatch was located in a desert in the middle of Washington. Festival fashion in the desert is always a tricky thing. But at Sasquatch the nights are cool, the daily threat of rain is a real thing, and a tent is the only option you have to lay your head at night. It’s important that fashion out here is functional; lots of layers and knits. The style for Sasquatch is practical and easy. Comfortable and realistic. Simple and down to earth.

Check out the street style photos below, taken by FP music committee member Katy from the Free People University Village store in Seattle! And be sure to turn on Katy’s Sasquatch playlist as you scroll through to put you in the mood!
