Ciao FP Jana, wish you well on your trip to a great island of fun, excitement, and adventure! You should totally travel with a solid perfume, especially one that you will benefit from, such as a aromatherapeutic scent including Lavender, bergamot, jasmine, or gardenia. Its good to travel with these because you’ll feel more refreshed and relaxed when out and about on the island. Maybe I can send you a sample of my company's basic solid perfume if you'd like! Thank you and be safe!!!

Hey, that's cool! I live in Puerto Rico! I'm from the San Juan area, but still, you should really check out Old San Juan, it's really quite impressive and beautiful. There's also some graffiti in Santurce part of this cool street art movement called "Santurce is Ley" which if you have time to drive by and check out, it's super cool. You have the clothing vibe down, though, I think. Especially in the old San Juan and beach areas the whole beach babe boho is pretty big. Not so much in the more touristy areas (Condado). Fashion is strange. Have fun!

Beautiful pieces! I am a bit obsessed with vintage clothing (thus my shop). I don't keep much for myself, but I did keep a gorgeous 60's bohemian quilted maxi dress by Lanz and a darling 70's boho/Hippie sheer floral sundress by Young Edwardian. Couldn't part with them if I tried. Vintage lingerie is also one of my obsessions. :) Gypsy Plunder Vintage

Staggeringly beautiful. As one collector of stories and threads to another - thank you for sharing Ali! If you ever have time (!) to write more pieces, it would be great to hear more about your first vintage pieces, what drew them to you, and how thy spoke to you? Developing that eye not just for cut, and colour, but seeing the potential in hidden gems, is so exciting; that thrill of knowing you have found something incredibly special. Something unique. Would love to hear more about your journey! xxx

The first dress is simply wow. I love this kind of back in dresses. Moreover, laced and netted sleeves look so very gorgeous. Even the way these models have accessorized their hands and fingers is too good. It’s going so well with these pretty outfits. Her stacked rings are so very classy. It’s a thumps-up to the designer.

Does FP have more information about their process for production and sourcing materials-for this line and all others? I have been very interested in ethical clothing (environmentally & related to human rights). However I've found it difficult to navigate with FP because even many pieces in the We The Free line are not made in the USA. I'm happy to support international artisans, but I would want to make sure that the labor going into the pieces is something I'm comfortable with.
Alexandra -Oct 29, 2014, 10:01AM
This is so lovely - truly the beauty of an heirloom is its ability to move through generations in an elegant way. These pieces ooze comfort and class - they'll surely be staples in a wardrobe for decades. Beautiful! Warm Regards, Alexandra www.littlewildheart.com
