Meet Our New Model Sam

I’m always so intrigued to find out more about the models we use. After all, they’re the faces of our brand, and do such a beautiful job bringing our clothing to life. We had a new model in the studio yesterday, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce her to you all! She had me cracking up so much while we sat and chatted, and it turns out she’s a New Year’s baby just like myself! Meet Sam.

When you were 5, what did you aspire to be?
I’ve always felt something with animals – probably either a veterinarian or a marine biologist. There are still so many things I would like to do, I don’t even know what the future will hold!

What star sign are you?
Capricorn… with a Pisces moon.

I’m a Capricorn, too!

Share some of your beauty secrets!
I wash my face every night, do a scrub here and there, drink lots of water… always use sunscreen in the summer. I pay attention to eyebrows; use a brow brush and brush up with mascara.

What’s the coolest place you’ve ever been?
I recently went to Oahu for a job. I had always wanted to go to Hawaii. You know, when you’re a kid and you learn about the 50 states… Hawaii was always on the list for me. I had never gone and then I finally got to.

And it didn’t disappoint?
It didn’t disappoint. We had to wake up in the morning for sunrises — the call times were really early, but I didn’t care. The ocean, the sand, just the feeling of it all. Everything was perfect.

Finally, what does free mean to you?
Being free is being yourself; when you’re free to just be who you are.
