The second post in our series for May, healthy juice recipes from Kelsi Windmiller!
The second juice recipe for this month is red cabbage and blueberry. Red cabbage juice has some amazing health benefits and has a gorgeous bright violet color! It has been known to aid the gastrointestinal system, lower cholesterol, and promote weight loss. Cabbage also contains magnesium, potassium, calcium, and many vitamins. Blueberries mask the flavor of the cabbage juice as well as add a healthy amount of antioxidants. Grapes add natural sweetness and celery gives this recipe some greens. This is a great recipe to incorporate into a juice cleanse or to add to your regular diet.
Red Cabbage and Blueberry Juice
1 Red Cabbage
1 Cup Blueberries
1 Bag Seedless Grapes
5 Celery Stalks
Start by rinsing all of your ingredients. Cut the cabbage into manageable pieces for the juicer. Then juice the blueberries, grapes, and celery. Add water if you feel like it’s too strong for your taste. Store in a pitcher or jars and keep refrigerated. Drink up!

where can I find those glasses/jars from the first photo? thanks!
Anyone have any idea how long juices can last if refrigerated? I have found conflicting answers when searching online.
Sounds so yummy! Going to give it a try tonight :)
I am drinking this now. Delish!
Great juice. One of the best tasting I’ve tried since I have started my 40 day juice fast. Thanks for the recipe!
Try Michael’s for the glasses… good luck!
Cabbage is usually used in salads and other main course recipes. But cabbage with blueberry juice is a bizarre combination. Looking at the ingredients, I think this is excellent source of fibre and anti-oxidants. Very healthy drink. Highly recommended for fitness and weight conscious people. Amazing post!
This sounds really delicious and something new to try. Thank you for sharing this.
