Every now and then, I find myself falling into slumps. Read more »

Kacey Royer -May 18, 2015, 8:19PM
I can TOTALLY relate to this post. Thank you so much for writing this. You have inspired me, so you are doing something right :) I am the owner of a handmade jewelry business, Found Wanderer. I have been creating jewelry for years and I have found myself in a big slump lately. I recently graduated college and I am in a weird place in life. I have still be creating but I have doubted myself at times. The questions you ask yourself are questions I ask myself everyday. I think because we see things from our own eyes, not from other peoples, hurts us at times. We see what we see over and over, but there are millions of other eyes out there looking at our work which we tend to forget. Sometimes we have to inspire ourselves before we can be inspired! Best of luck to you! Kacey Royer www.etsy.com/shop/FoundWanderer

Absolutely! Especially as women, negative self talk is such a common, awful habit. It's so useful to be aware of it! It truly can hold us back - but be courageous! Warm Regards, Alexandra www.littlewildheart.com

I could easily spend all 24 at City Lights, right across the street from Vesuvio.
Alexandra -May 14, 2015, 3:04PM
Wow if I only had 24 hours in a city I would choose to live like a local, walk as much as possible, eat in little places, and make sure I'm writing/photographing everything. You did an awesome job! Warm Regards, Alexandra www.littlewildheart.com

Post image for About A Girl: Meet Alyssa Florentine

So there she was, sitting behind the wheel of a blue pick-up truck – messy hair and all, with a camera in her hand. Damn, I thought, she’s cool.

I would love to be featured on the free people blog! I am a Los Angeles based Acupuncturist trying to spread the word about eastern medicine. I have a great passion for this medicine and hope to share it with as many people as I can. I love and embody the free people spirit in my style and my acupuncture practice. It would be an honor to be featured. Let me know if you are interested. : ) Here is my website: http://seedoflifeacupuncture.com/

I totally agree about organic food - it tastes so much better than GMOs. Especially strawberries, they're so much sweeter when they're organic :) http://www.wellandfull.com/

Post image for In Design: Meet the Designer Behind FP’s NY Capsule

We normally preface each of our blog stories with a little missive about where we are and whom we’re seeing and what she’s (and sometimes he’s) doing. But our NY capsule designer, Natasha, spoke so eloquently of her experience in the fashion industry that today I’m just going to pass the mic to her.

If I still lived in AL I would probably go just for fun (the beach!), but these days the MTV crowd would just be too much to justify the drive. :/

Planning ahead and thinking about the future. My mother and I got into a heated fight where I had to admit a lot of terrible truths to myself that I refused to accept before. I realized how flawed of a person I am and it's something I will work arduously on to better myself.
