Post image for What’s Your Favorite Fall Tradition?

I love seasonal traditions – everyone has at least one! Family traditions, friend traditions, relationship traditions… I think it’s so sweet to have little (or big) things that you do with your loved ones every year to spend time together and celebrate the season. Read more »

I guess I have my own tradition which is simply baking tons of fall favorites that just don't go with summer. And eating pumpkin everything.
Hannah V -Oct 16, 2012, 12:27AM
Every year my mom and I and a few other close friends go apple picking in Julian, California. What a great tradition to get in the mood for fall! We rent a big cozy cabin- a different one each year and stay for the weekend doing all sorts of stuff, eating apple pie making pot-roast, going trinket shopping, carriage riding at night etc. I love it

Post image for How To Bring Holistic Beauty Into Your Life

I’ve always been intrigued by the holistic way of living and I try and practice it as much as I can. I always get tied up with the thoughts of “are my work outs enough,” “Do I need to run more,” “do I need to be working out every day in order to be healthy,” then I came across the holistic approach. I was so happy to see this article on here. Jemma, you really summed up the philosophy about following a path of feeling good rather than dragging yourself through "should's". I have a few suggestions for Cierra about resources. First there is my own site: http://greenbeautyteam.com Other favorites include: http://thehealthybeautyproject.com and http://www.mindbodygreen.com/ Hope that helps!

I love this post! I am interested in learning more about the holistic way of living. Anyone have recommendations of good books/blogs? Thanks :)

Post image for Inspiring Words: Be Foolish, Stay Hungry

Taking risks can be scary, you feel like you’re about to dive off a cliff, not knowing what’s going to happen at the end. But risk taking is what makes life exciting, it keeps you on your toes. I once read an editor letter in the April-May 2012 issue of Russh Magazine, and the introduction read “Look. Really look. Read more »

the back cover of the final edition of the Whole Earth Catalog (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whole_Earth_Catalog) read: stay hungry, stay foolish. it became a more popular, or at least recognized, adage when Steve Jobs urged Stanford students at their graduation ceremony to keep that phrase in mind as they set out on various life journeys and so on. I have it engraved on either side of a ring and it is such a good reminder!

Post image for Where Did Your Favorite T-shirts Come From?

UPDATE: This previously ran on August the 28th but because we never get bored of a good rock tee we thought we’d bring it back.

When I bump into our videographer around our office, she stops me dead in my tracks and I ask “where is your t-shirt from?”. This usually becomes the start of our conversation. Read more »

Is that Wes Lang shirt mens or womens? I love his prints but I don't know what size/style to order to cut it into that oversized look.
Lilly -Oct 15, 2012, 12:57AM
Wow, this was so lovely. I have became a t-shirt lover the last months ( not that I haven't always liked them) but now I really consider the shirt long before I buy it, if it's good enough and if it's something I will wear. I also find that quality shirts lasts so much longer so the ones from H&M I dropped a long time ago. I usually buy mine at a underwear shop called Oysho. It's the loveliest shop and they have everything so nice and comfy. Since they don't have it in the country I live in I always buy a shitload when I'm first out of country :D

Post image for Saturday DO: Get In The Spirit

Halloween used to be one of my absolute favorite holidays, but I think at a certain point we all tend to outgrow it a bit, and then maybe return to it later in life and appreciate it again. This year I’m trying to really enjoy the season of Halloween and embrace it, and its bringing back a lot of those old feelings I had for it. Read more »

Post image for DIY Dry Shampoo For Dark Or Light Hair

Update: This post originally ran on September 6th 2012 but we can’t get enough of this awesome homemade remedy so we wanted to share it again!

I don’t know about you but when I discovered dry shampoo it was like a whole new world… just a quick spray and your hair looks clean and fresh. It’s a live saver if you’re short on time or traveling, but as we all know it can be pretty pricey! Read more »

Nose Job kansas city -Sep 27, 2014, 11:49PM
,) energies are capable of treating the surface of the skin and the deep dermis, but do not treat the middle layer of the dermis and thus cannot achieve complete non-surgical rejuvenation or a non-surgical face-lift. Better and quicker results are more achievable even with difficult noses (due to severe trauma or in asymmetrical faces). By changing the size & shape of the nose, this cosmetic nose can positively influence the balance of facial features.
Rachel -Sep 08, 2014, 8:29PM
Oh joy! Thrilled about this, as I've loved the pricey dry shampoos I've tried, but the cheap ones (sadly, what my budget runs to these days) tends to be itchy on my scalp. I really need a dry shampoo option, as I've got a pain condition that makes daily hair washing painful... so I try to stick to every few days. Don't like the yucky dirty scalp feeling, though, so hoping this is the solution! Question... wondering if you have any DIY suggestions for a rinse free body bath? Something like the 'No Rinse' product? That would truly be a lifesaver. ;)
