Post image for Letting Go of “All or Nothing”

Some days, we’re just not feeling 100%. People, events and obligations are tugging at us from left and right, each taking bits of our precious time and energy one by one. On these days, it just doesn’t seem possible to put in our usual “all”… so we choose to put in nothing.

I enjoyed reading this but was hoping to hear more about the models who really aren’t just models, but who are also making an impact in the world through music, art and charity. It would be nice to have details on all the wonderful things they are doing.

Ana - Thank you for reading and for bringing this oversight to our attention, the title and all usage of that particular word has been edited.
Ana -Oct 08, 2015, 7:10PM
Dear Free People, Stop using the word "Asian" to describe a salad. Not only are you marginalizing Asian culture down to a few ingredients, it's extremely disrespectful!! There's nothing asian about that salad. It does not originate from any kind of asian culture.

Post image for 5 Steps to Overcoming Injuries

What do you call a surfer who does not surf? A runner who does not run, or a yogi who does not practice yoga?Read More

Tiffani -Oct 06, 2015, 3:38PM
I have been a good soul about my injuries- But it has had its emotional toll- I have changed my routin in what I do- and taken things slower. at work- it def has made me step back and say "don't go so fast--- because you can't" Thank you for shining light on this subject! It too has been my first "accident" that has taken my "workout" an physical ability to do things to a new light!
Katherine -Oct 05, 2015, 6:54PM
Thank you for this post. I am a rock climber and yoga teacher, and I was diagnosed with an inflamed cervical disk a month ago. Injuries and setbacks really put things into perspective for me- how much gratitude I have for my body, even if something goes wrong, and for my yoga practice not being limited to just physical postures. It also makes me realize how we can't judge people based on outward appearances alone; just because someone isn't going to the gym or dancing at the concert or going on the camping trip doesn't mean they are boring or out of shape. Even injuries and afflictions are gifts, in their own way. <3

Beautiful pictures. Just a note. If u put the hay bale on your grass for a long time, the grass underneath it turns yellow and looks yucky when u remove it. It does come back though.

Faiza -Oct 05, 2015, 9:50AM
For me, I believe it's the trees that connect me to home, but the universe as a whole. I'm in love with how many there are and their age. But, the mountains, I don't have many here. And the mountains are my call to adventure. I must travel to Utah.
