Post image for Office Style: Textures

This week’s office style theme was texture, texture and more texture! I noticed different textured fabrics, like velvet and lace, and also textural details, like embroidery and sheer touches. Adding in the smallest bit of texture to your outfit can make it fun and surprising. I loved how all our girls were looking this week! Read More

For today’s style file we are featuring the beautiful and talented Meryl Pataky, a silversmith, welder, neon artist, and teacher who lives in San Francisco.  I love the contrast of the neon lettering and botanical materials in her work, and it’s so cool to get a glimpse into her studio in these pictures. Post image for Road Map Nails Inspired By Roshambo: Paper-Scissors

The third Roshambo video brings us back to where it all began: Paris. The final chapter in the series was filmed throughout the streets of Paris, so this inspired me to try a transfer technique on my nails using a map of the magical city. For something that looks complicated, it’s actually really simple to achieve. You can do this with any map, and it’s fun to pick out certain places that you may have traveled to or special spots that you want to put on your nails.Read More

Post image for Our Favorite Childhood Hand Games

When I first got wind that we were doing a film series called “Roshambo”, I have to admit, I had no idea what that word meant. But as soon as I found out that it was another term for the “rock, paper, scissors” game, I was immediately brought back to childhood days spent on the playground or in the school lunchroom, and all of the hand games we used to play.Read More

last week in sports class (im a ninth grader) there was a lot of rain so we couldnt play soccer so i found a couple of jump ropes and we jumped... we even tried using two ropes at once. (the only person that could jump with two ropes was my teacher and a friend of mine, the only thing is that he is a boy.
