I adore the look of this but I am SO BAD at keeping plants alive - especially in my office space where I'd love some. Warm Regards, Alexandra www.littlewildheart.com

Beautiful post! Im from Los Angeles, California and I moved to Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica about 2 years ago. Yoga, surfing, crafts and living free in our container home by the beach, its an amazing life. Everyone needs to come and experience it.

I have smoothies most mornings too, I either make mine with frozen berries or banana, then blend with a little low fat creme fraiche, and coconut rice milk. Sometimes I add a little protein powder if I'm feeling a more hungry. www.michellelouiselove.com

I have a remote, but I haven't been able to figure out how to get it to work without pointing it directly at the camera -- it won't take a picture when I'm hiding it. I may not have had the camera on automatic focus, though, so perhaps that is the issue.

Thanks for the tipps! I’ve had a remote in my shopping cart on amazon, and now it’s time to finally order it! best, j e f http://thejeffery.blogspot.com/

The first thing I noticed were the diet cokes too! So bad for you :( Love all the outfits though, & especially adore the eyeball clutch in the last outfit. The wild outfits are usually my favorite to stalk :)

selfies are an excellent form of self-confidence, and just one like can totally boost someone's confidence! it's a way of saying to the world, "hey, i'm not afraid of putting myself out there and I love myself the way I am." most people think they're silly or vain, but I say that they are the greatest picture of you, in your best moments, are the highest peaks of your life. it's not just a trend, it's everlasting beauty. xoxo, Laurel

The first selfies I remember were back in the 70's /80''s when people would hold their Polaroid toward them w/outstretched arms & snap single or group pics!!! This went on all the time!!! Those were the first 'on the run ' selfies!! I have a stack of them w/ my cat !!!!!!

Sooo true!
Susan -Sep 08, 2014, 2:05PM
there's so much truth to that! I find that sometimes the happiest surprises result in our dreams not turning out exactly as we have envisioned them but much different while still retaining the true essence of what we wish for....sometimes our spirit has the ideal solution that our ego does not or can not see.... Thank-you so much for this post! I have been trying to learn to surf since I moved up to the Gold Coast for uni (almost 3yrs ago now) and have all but given up because I am gripped by panic every time I paddle out (even though I was previously an ocean swimmer and have no problems with big surf). This has inspired me to just enjoy myself and keep trying :)
