Recycled Book Keepsake

Growing up, I was never really one to keep a diary or journal. My mom would always buy me blank notebooks, but I would use those to sketch or doodle instead of writing down my secrets. Over the years, I have acquired many sketchbooks and I have stored away many drawings in all of them. They all seem to be in different places though — some are back at my childhood home in Florida, a few are at the foot of my bed, and then there are the random ones that I find in old purses or in my car. Each time I find one, I look back through it and get inspired by my past sketches. Read More

Style File: Spell And The Gypsy Collective

The girls behind the Spell and the Gypsy Collective line are cool, creative, and show a style that’s so fitting to their eclectic designs that you can’t help but be intrigued by the fringe, the patterns, and the layers and layers of accessories. They do that hippie-chic so well, with a modern rodeo kind of feel, and you can always expect to see feathers, turquoise, and leather peeking out from somewhere in their designs. My Favorite Albums Of 2012 – And A Playlist

Deciding on my ten favorite albums of 2012 is no easy task. It’s fun to look back on all the new music that came out this year, though, and bring some amazing songs and albums back to the forefront of my mind.  It’s interesting to think about all the new bands I was introduced to and new music that made up the soundtrack to the past year of my life, and the memories that go along with them. One Bag Goes To New York

I spent all of last weekend in New York, where I’m from. I wanted to share my weekend with you guys in the form of a Blogger Diary, but my bag had other plans. It asked if it could write its own blog post as a guest blogger. I couldn’t say no, so here’s my weekend through the perspective of one fringe-y little bag! Read More
