Ever since I saw our Golden Age Top in our January catalog, I have become completely smitten with it’s a-line angel like swing shape and crochet lace detail. It seems like the perfect top I could wear casually with jeans, with denim cut offs when it starts to get a little warmer, and on the beach with my bikini bottoms as a cute little cover-up. It’s an all-around easy top with prettiness.
I have always been the type of person who is continually searching for something… I have never felt rested. I needed to find my balance and calm the mild anxiety that had been following me for years. So, when the opportunity arose for me to participate in a 5-day Bikram challenge, I dove straight at the chance.
Whenever I travel to different countries where the language is new to me, I always want to know the fundamental core words to make my life easier and to not be ignorant to the culture I’m visiting. I always make it a habit to carry with me a small book of words I need to know.

Last Friday here at our home office, we held our first Free People Blogger Retreat, and invited local bloggers to come and learn the tricks and tips of creating and managing a successful blog. I miss snail mail, I miss receiving hand written letters in the mail and small postcards from family and friends from their travels. It was always such a nice feeling having something handwritten and delivered to you, that you could keep and put on your fridge under a magnet or placed delicately on a shelf for you to glance at and pick up every now and again to read over.
